Industrial Intelligence at the Heart of the Field
The INVIS Zone Controller (NEXOR) is the central field controller that connects and manages every component of an ETC or AET system.
Acting as the communication hub between lane devices and the central host, the ZC gathers, processes, and transfers data from all field subsystems — including ANPR cameras, AVC units, and RFID readers — ensuring that every event, image, and transaction is captured and transmitted with precision and reliability.
Built for industrial environments, it operates on 24 VDC power, featuring four 2.5 Gbps LAN ports that provide robust, high-speed connectivity for any integration scenario.

Redundant by Design – Reliable by Nature
Reliability defines the NEXOR. The system uses hot redundancy, meaning two NEXORs operate simultaneously in parallel.
If one controller encounters a hardware, communication, or storage failure, the second seamlessly takes over within seconds — guaranteeing zero data loss and continuous uptime.
This fault-tolerant architecture ensures that even under extreme conditions, system integrity and data continuity remain uncompromised.
Seamless Integration with the INVIS Ecosystem
The NEXOR is designed to fit perfectly inside the AVC subrack, creating a unified, compact, and maintainable structure.
Through multiple connection paths to the AVC CPUs, it continuously monitors performance and detects anomalies at both processing and communication levels.
When combined with redundant AVC units, the result is a self-aware and self-healing field system capable of operating continuously without interruption.
Smart Synchronization and Custom Software
Developed through years of real-world experience and field testing, the NEXOR represents the evolution of embedded control and synchronization.
It can be customized for project-specific communication protocols and software logic, enabling seamless adaptation to local requirements and client infrastructures.
A unique proprietary synchronization method allows the ZC to align all connected field devices — including ANPR cameras, RFID readers, and AVC units — with a timing precision better than 5 milliseconds, eliminating the need for NTP servers and ensuring perfect temporal alignment across the entire field network.
Built on Experience. Proven in the Field.
More than just hardware, the NEXORis the product of decades of engineering knowledge and thousands of hours of field operation.
It reflects INVIS’s commitment to industrial-grade design, flexibility, and long-term reliability — ensuring that every tolling and enforcement system it powers runs accurately, continuously, and intelligently.
